Our Story
Peak Health was founded in early 2022 in order to bring affordable bioidentical hormone replacement to Northwest Houston. We soon added weight loss with the now-so-popular GLP-1 medications. The combination of these two modalities was truly changing lives!
The owner, Amy Calder’s life was also greatly influenced by bioidentical hormone replacement and was the inspiration for Peak Health. After many years of raising children and huge amounts of stress, she found herself with little vitality, low energy, weight gain, and insomnia. At age 42, she was fortunate to have a gynecologist who was familiar with bioidentical hormones. The results were truly life-changing! Amy now strives to bring this same transformation to both men and women who are experiencing the normal decline in vital hormones as they age.
As providers, we never stop learning and strive to improve the health of our patients in every way possible. We embrace a functional approach to medicine and strive to get to the true “root” of health issues. We have found the best way to do this is through genetic and micronutrient testing.
In 2023, we expanded into medical aesthetics, merging science, artistry, and medical expertise to bring elite treatments to our community. Drawing on Amy’s many years of experience in aesthetics, we carefully selected state-of-the-art devices and laser technologies to help deliver natural, transformative results.
Since opening our doors, we have been fortunate enough to develop relationships with and improve the lives of over 2,000 patients. What an honor and a blessing it is to do what we do every day!
Our approach is safe, thorough, and natural. Our goal is to help our patients improve their health, quality of life, and prevent age-related disease.
